Hamburger Bowls with Crispy Fries & Spicy Everything Sauce

  • 2 min read

Our Story

This is burger night flipped into a bowl. Gab piles seasoned beef, crispy fries, freshly grated cheddar, and a pile of fresh and pickled toppings over lettuce, then drizzles the whole thing with a tangy spicy everything sauce. She likes to pile everything high and mix it all together so every bite has a little bit of everything, crispy fries, melty cheddar, and that sauce. It is basically a burger and fries, just lighter and more fun to eat.

What We'd Change Next Time

Freshly grating the cheddar off the block makes a real difference in how it melts into the warm beef. Adjust the hot sauce to your crowd, and add extra pickle juice to the sauce if you like it tangier. A lighter high-protein version and a kid-friendly version are on the list for the cookbook.
